Acme is most certainly one of the most overrated. Not sure about worst though.

The worst that actually tries to be something other than a pure tourist trap, has to be Redfish Grill.

ETA, Although, I'm not sure they are even trying to be anything other than that anymore.

The episode of Ramseys on Oceana is over the top for shits and giggles. Two Arabs with one having all of the recipes in his head is too, too much to endure. Mo needs to be on the gator trot lines for bait.

Crescent City Brewery

I think this is the most disappointing. My first time I went I managed my expectations. Wasn't expecting much, and it was terrible and expensive.

The now defunct Sammy's Seafood Restaurant. I was there with others and I barely remember the mediocre food over the horrific stench of cat urine/spray. It was adjacent to an alley that was home to a family of stray cats. I couldn't wait to get the flock out of that place.

Jesus there's a lot of "worst" restaurants listed in here. No wonder they're still in business, if not just tourists but locals are eating this shite as well.

Only one I've been to is Deanies in the quarter .. and it wasn't too bad. BBQ shrimp were pretty greasy but definitely edible.
