That's a very class move for him to make.

Mett has to want this game more than any other in his career, and because of that he's going to have to work on approaching it like every other big game.

I know Cam will, and I trust Cam will devise a gameplan with a few throws early to boost confidence then hopefully get one on one, throw it up and hope for the best.

His early success at UGA could be the difference...if he starts to press, I'll get worried real quick

I think Richt just accused Mett's mom of being a double-agent.

Seriously? Why do you think it is not, is the better question?

RIcht is a classy guy, but that has ALOT to do with keeping things from getting out.

Indeed it is. It also eliminates any possibility that an extra photocopy of the game plan happens to get made.

“We’ve been knowing Zach since he was a very young kid,” Richt said. “We all really like Zach and want the best for him but just don’t want him to win the game this weekend. That’s the only thing that’s different from normal, is we’re competing against him this week.”
Dude really does think Tammygate has potential. Go get some "rest", Tammy!

Because he knows it's a difficult week for her. He gave her the week off. That's a classy move. Think about it.

Well, typically the people making an atypical claim are the ones that must back the claim up, but fine, I'll bite.

She works in their admin department and has for a long time. Therefore, I suspect that she has a good working relationship with everyone there. Since her son is going to be a prime "target" (not in a nefarious way) for trying to get a Georgia victory, there is going to be a lot of talk about him around the department this week. Since it may, understandably, be difficult for her to deal with that from a personal perspective, the best thing to do is remove her from it.

It happens all the time in my industry when there is the potential for a conflict of interest or the appearance thereof. It's just a business move, neither classy nor non-classy.

This. Everything I've heard about him points to him being a good guy, but I'm not going to canonize him for doing what any sane admin person would do.

This means it's not this:

He's basically saying he doesn't want her to do something underhanded...

that's a coward move, IMO.
