If you were the Panthers, and the Browns offered the two first round pics for this coming year for Cam (to be reunited with Chud), would you take it?

A top 5 pick(most likely) and a top 15-20ish for cam?

Almost 8,000 yards passing and over 60 TD's in his first two seasons.

The Browns need a winner and a leader, not a stat compiler.

In 1 1/8 seasons, Andrew Luck has won one less game than Cam has in 2 1/8 seasons.

Not saying he sucks, but isn't he usually playing from behind a lot?

depends on which picks they are and who is available at those spots.

Indianapolis at least has a competent coaching staff and a front office that knows what they are doing.

I think it's hilarious how this board thinks Carolina's failures are Cam's fault.

"OMG he is cocky so I don't like him."

He's an NFL player. 90% of them are probably arrogant.

"OMG he put a towel over his head. He isn't a leader."

At least he hates losing. Michael Jordan bitched about everything. Tom Brady is practically on the fricking rule committee. Do they get a pass because they inherited better situations?

Cam plays on a team where the only focus is on defense. The young man is playing with below average offensive players who have been playing in the NFL since Cam was in middle school.

Yeah, it's his fault.

2-14 in games decided by 7 points or less. Like I've said many times, Rivera is just a bad coach, and their front office might be even worse.

Ya, I was just pointing out that you throw for more yards and TDs when behind, and that's pretty standard for all QBs unless they are just absolutely abysmal.

I just don't have a working memory of the game by game break down of every Carolina Panthers game to back up the guessing assertion.

I don't want Cam Newton on the Cleveland Browns.

Let's look at 2012 on a play by play and situational basis. Let's remember that the common narrative is that Newton "regressed" in 2012. Let's also remember that DYAR and DVOA adjust for defense faced as well as context (eg, a 12 yard completion on 3rd and 20 in the first quarter is not the same as a 12 yard completion on 3rd and 5 late in the 4th quarter down by 4).

Cam performed better than Luck last year. Wins are a team stat.
