Go early, never know when there will be a wreck going into New Orleans. Parking is easy around Superdome and all the lots downtown.

Give yourself at least an hour to get into stadium. Getting through security and getting to your seat takes longer than you think.

there is really no experience like it - I went to a Saints/ Niners game several years ago and was the most fun ive ever had at a football game.

When I went to LSU I would try to get on the road at 9:15ish. It was pretty tough because I was always hungover as frick!

Don't forget to give Tyrann Mathieu a standing ovation!

That game sucked and the Hispanic Texan's fans were very rude.

If you want to pay to park, there are lots in the warehouse district.
Might get some cheaper stuff along Loyala on other side of Poydras.
I park for free near LSU Health Science Center or along Tulane.

Leave BR no later than 7, beat traffic, get a nice spot to park. Hang out in Champions Square till 10:30 then go check out the Saints HOF near gate C. Takes ne no less than 20 from the time I get into line till the time I get into my seat and I know where I'm going.

wouldn't make sense to go to that side of the Dome coming from the West. Now if you were coming from the West Bank(which is ironically east) or Chalmette, then yeah park there.

Why? I like getting off the interstate and scooting down Tulane and parking in the area I said. It is usually less traffic going on and easy as hell to get back to the interstate that way too.

I only suggested the warehouse district idea because there are more bars over that way if the OP wants to hit a few.

I guess, my way is literally no traffic until you park.

Though more and more people are figuring out how to take

lol a lurking family member told me "No one knew about our way to the game before you posted that fricking map a few years back" It really is more packed now.

Yeah, OP never mind, go park in the Warehouse district.

Your idea is great too.
I just kind of think for someone coming in for their first time, being over on the other side of the dome might be more "fun".

No you are right. OP do not try to find the parking on the other side.

Get to NO by 10-1030 & you will be okay.

I'm so jacked for you. I almost told you after the win Sunday just out of pure emotion.
