My co-worker just started it and I said the slowest part of the entire series is season 1, episodes 3-6.

I would say episode 3 until they meet Tuco is the slowest part of the show (although still good) but after they meet Tuco is hold onto your fricking seats up until now.

The fly episode is the only one hiccup and that's it.

Agree?

When he had krazy8 locked up was a little slow... But it was still great TV.

ETA: fly is a great episode... And if you didn't like it you're too dumb to understand it.

I sure hope you're trolling. The production crew said they were using that episode to save money. I realize it was to focus on Walt's OCD but it still made for awful TV.

Not my favorite episode but it had good back and forth with Walt and Jesse.

Fly was a fantastic episode.

Granted, I saw it during a marathon watch through. I can understand why people who were watching the show live didn't care for it as much.

Any episode that explores the Walt/Jesse relationship is a good episode

The fly episode was the only one I didn't like, every other one progressed the show. It may have started slow in comparison, but it was still a more entertaining start than most shows.

The Fly just showed Walt's obsessions with having things His Way.

Anyone who doesn't agree with this is being a pretentious douche.

but in comparison to every other episode, it was the weakest.

He literally spent the whole thing looking for a trying to kill a Fly in the lab. Best part was when Jesse clocked the shite out of him with the rigged flyswatter.

I get it was to set up the OCD and attention to detail.

I'm about to start season five. Hope to catch up this week so I can watch the last two episodes live.

Fair enough

I thought next week was the series finale. Are there two episodes left?

"Fly" is the ultimate calm before the storm and is a great episode to showcase the dynamics between Walt and Jesse before shite really starts to hit the fan and the great spiral begins.

It's not the show at its best but it's anything but filler.

I don't know. I saw that on facebook, maybe the next is the last. Then I need to catch up.

About to start five now.

Last thing I saw was Fring getting half his face blown off. Sadly i liked Fring more than Walt.

I find myself rooting for Hank.

Fly was great. Who cares if it was to save money. I like it when it's Jesse and walt. Like with 4 days out.

That episode was symbolic like a motherfricker, it's your loss if you people didn't get anything out of that episode.

The beginning of season 4 was slow to me. After box cutter episode, things didn't get going again until Hermanos.

Episode 3 had the "plate" scene which is what actually sold me on the show. I thought it was genius writing. I marathon'd the shite out of BB after that and finished it in like 2 days.

Episode 6 is Walt's first meeting with Tuco. Kinda goes without saying how badass that scene was.

Okay, if "Fly" is something that people aren't getting. Then what is the answer to the OP?

IMo that was the slowest episode. Yes the dynamic is great between the two, especially when it focuses on them and was a calm before shite went crazy. Though it was easily the slowest part of the season.
