Me and two buddies got em in about two hours. I feel like we raped the woods but seeing we didn't even put a dent in it I don't feel bad. Got 25#'s yesterday too.

Thanks guys. Had to get em before the rain ruined em. Have never seen anything like it. We couldve filled up the truck bed if could get it up the hill.

Gonna be a great season.

Where are you picking? Do you sell them to restaurants? I love chanterelle mushrooms in just a bit of butter.

I'm picking northwest of Portland. They are all over where I live. Without lying/exaggerating we left over a 1000 #'s behind. That's just one area.

I'm hoping to not have to. Some wholesalers will be getting some calls tomorrow. I've also sold about 50#'s to coworkers.

I love them all kinds of ways. Chanterelle gravy over fried elk backstrap is

I'll do so, but first I have 3#'s each of hearts/gizzards and some chicken thighs to make a soup.

Don't they have these in the swamps in Louisiana as well?

I don't know. Not really the type to go hunt through a swam though.

Need to see, I've only been mushroom hunting on cow pastures.

Do you dehydrate and ship?

Thinking about dehydrating, they're worth more in the winter.
