Enormous alumni base. Tons of money. Its own network. Largest recruiting base in the nation. Annnnnd they're getting soundly beat by mormons and runts.

They will make a run at Saban but I doubt he leaves.

David Shaw will be high on their list. Gruden will get a look but he doesn't seem like a good fit (NFL guy that has been out of coaching for years).

Who else is a legit candidate?

Dude, they've been asleep for like 3 years. We've already seen what they can become.

Texas in no way qualifies as a "sleeping giant". They are a giant going through a down phase.

I cut my source off. But he did tell me back in the day that Dodds liked Shaw a lot. It makes sense. He is a good coach, young and black. The last part is a counter to Sumlin.

shitty reason to hire a coach.

Briles and Peterson are front runners.

Shaw would probably be a home run. He could build one hell of an offensive line for that offense there.

Shaw would easily be the best hire

Apparently their fans are viewing them more as a prison bitch than a sleeping giant.

I can see that. Seems like they're enjoying watching this guy burn.

NTP needs to win crystal at a third school to really cement his legacy.

Plus he might need a replacement for the soon to be vacated mulligan titles in 2011 and 2012.
