First, I would like to say that I know this has been discussed before, but I wanted to see if nevilletiger has any input.

James smith claimed in his chat today that hootie "has one foot out of the door with the other headed in the same direction."

I know he was at c robs announcement. Is there any reason to believe he is still leaning towards lsu other than the tcu game visit?

Also, everyone needs to calm down about being bama-sessed. People tend to forget how often saban losses battles on louisianas turf....

He was recruiting heavily and lost:
Ricky Jefferson
Kendall beckwith
John diarse
James wright
Anthony Johnson
La'el Collins
Will clapp
Garret brumfield
Dwayne Thomas
Demean smith
Melvin jones
Jermauria rasco
Micah Eugene
Jacory washington
And Jordan Allen

Not to mention throwing Kwon Alexander away
Losing logan stokes
Ethan pocic
Andy dodd
Etc.

He loses out much more than he wins. I'm happy he exhausts his resources here because we are on our game and if we stay on our current path, he will always lose more than he wins

This one is actually kind of legit. He's commenting about what James smith said.
Can someone elaborate on what James is implying? I didn't catch it.

JJ, I know you've also got sources. Is that your opinion, or is there substance to your stance?

are two very different things. Seems like Jimmy D is kind of hedging his bets here to me.

I thought Hootie was all LSU prior to Cam committing. Both the Cams will be on him daily. The way he was acting in the local news interview as well as the things CRob has said, I doubt he ends up at LSU.

If that is the case jj, do you think if LSU offered sims, would it have been the difference? Would they all be at lsu or all still bama?

I'm looking at the chat transcript and he says nothing remotely like that.

not trying to be a jerk, but has any Tiger fan from that area (West Monroe) ever explained what the hell is going on up there?

Too late now. Not sure when it would've had to happen to make a difference. Sims and LSU parted ways a long time ago.

Bama Coaches are swarming Hootie along with the Cams. Hope this is not a case of them out working us again. Les needs to hire someone from NLA to stop this.

In my view, there are too many people in LA still enamored with Saban. That includes some HS coaches. He doesn't get everyone he wants, in fact, he strikes out much more often than he connects, but once in a while he gets someone out of LA we want. The best way to remedy that is to beat him on the field. I think we have a good chance this year, as does A&M. A two loss Bama team (or even three, don't count out USCe) and Saban doesn't look nearly so much like a genius.

Ensminger coached AT WEST MONROE. Why Stud is in charge of this area instead of Ensminger is a mystery to me.

McCarty is all LSU. Him, Mom and Diarse are our best shots at getting Hootie.

Arledge is all LSU too. Pretty sure Jordan Allen is as well. Cam's Mom was all LSU prior too. Just saying. Bama is out working LSU according to everyone I talk to around here.

Louisiana was too nice to Saban after he left. We should have made it difficult for him every time he or his coaches came in on a recruiting trip. Hell, have the state troopers pull him over on the way from the airport every time he flies in. Let him know he's not welcome.
