Nonsense. Everyone on this board says Hootie is a lock to LSU and was just at CRob's announcement to "support" him.

What you guys are missing is that our coaches are making 6 sometimes 7 figures and it all revolves around winning. They have a lot to lose. If they were confident that they needed these certain players to win and keep their jobs, then they would be making sure they gave all their effort to get these kids. If these rumors are true and LSU staff has been conceding and not spending many resources on certain kids, then maybe they aren't their first priority. Bottom line is the staff has a lot more to lose by not getting these players, if the effort is not there, there is a reason. People on this board only want these kids out of pride.

One of those is not like the other. I'm sure the Nola kids are getting lots of attention from Frank. He's LSU's best recruiter.

I do find it concerning that with Cam Leonard fournette and now Hootie the word seems to be we aren't recruiting them the hardest. That does concern me.

I call bullshite on this, and I don't care who claims to have " inside sources ". There is NO WAY in hell that LSU Is not rolling out the red carpet and stroking these guys egos just as much as the next team. Les Miles called Cams mom on her birthday and sang happy birthday for christs sake! I've never heard of anything like that in my life. Point is these guys are gonna go wherever they want ,and if its not LSU then it certainly won't be because " We weren't showing the Love". Does every 17 year old always make good decisions? Even when your parents tried to guide you and help you at that age did you always listen? It sounds like a complete BS gripe to me to hear that any of these top recruits would even make this type of claim. ESPECIALLY CAM ROBINSON! The staff did everything they could, and now this guy wants to throw out BS claims like this? Just go to Bama already and hopefully grow up kid! He should have thanked LSU for everything instead of claiming that they didn't " Show him Enough Love." fricking Ridiculous!!!

This wasn't just now. This was brought up a year ago. Your response is par for the course. Les and company are infallible. I'm going to bed. No point in telling the truth in here anymore. The Rant has invaded.

I am just saying IF these rumors are true, which I doubt they are, there is a reason why.

Par for the course my arse. These guys choose to go to Bama and claim that LSU didn't roll out the red carpet is just their final dagger to throw. You believe everything that comes out of their mouths to be gospel? Give me a break!

It's always from the prima donnas that go to Bama making these claims. Have any guys that committed to LSU ever say anything like this??? I've never heard it.
Cam Rob and his girlfriend Sims need to get the hell out of this state as soon as possible. Then they can hold hands and skip through the quad sing rammer jammer together!

I don't like to be too critical of 18 year olds considering how clueless I was and they are at that age, but everytime Robinson opens his mouth I think Bama is the perfect place for him. I wish him luck but I am becoming increasingly happier with Pocic, Boutte, Clapp, Hawkins, Dodd and company.

I don't wish him luck. I just wish he would shut his mouth, graduate early, and get the Hell Out!

Some guys just want to go out of state. Bama pulls many guys from ga. As do we. This year we will pull two of the best dbs out of texas and Illinois best defensive player. You either bleed p&g or you not. I don't believe for a second that la guys are not given the red carpet treatment, but some schools just do above and beyond. I know Clemson recruited trey Quinn really hard. He just preferred Lsu in the end. It comes down to where you feel most comfortable and do you want your family and friends easily to be able to come see your games. Academically most of these schools are equal, with the exceptions being places like Stanford , etc.

the difference between cam and hootie is that cam liked lsu but hootie loves lsu and has since he was a little kid. he idolizes the badger and pp7.

this one boils down to bama being o line U and lsu being DBU. hootie is being recruited very hard up here, i cant speak for how hard they worked for cam but hootie is full court pressed

If hootie gets away, heads need to roll.

Losing out on the top safety in La again is inexcusable.

why is this thread anchored?
