I put a small amount of Flaxseed in my horses feed every morning. It keeps their coats shiny as a new penny

only good flax is flax hulls or crushed flax seed and thats only to boost fiber intake.

Not a fan of extracted oils, but I do add the meal and sometimes whole seeds for flavor and texture in breads.
