Line has moved to -28 Oregon.
LINK
I can't remember the last time an SEC team was a 28 point dog. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Who is playing this game? UT and points or Oregon wipes the floor with that SEC arse?

Yea SEC sucks

I'd still take Oregon. They didn't play well against UVA and still dominated. Once they put it all together they will be scary.

Lets see the spread for Colorado @ Bama. Thats what this game is.
Oregon will roll the Vols and cover easily. 56-17

And I agree.

It was a hypothetical. He was saying that trying to say that Tennessee representing the SEC against Oregon would be like Colorado representing the Pac12 against Alabama.

Yeah but Colorado has never been Tennessee.
...and culturally about football, not even in the same universe. So it's not really a valid comparison.
This is a flagship SEC program being a 28 point underdog. The Vols are the last SEC team to win back to back SEC championships...and it wasn't 50 years ago.

That's stretching.
So would an LSU/Bama thrashing of USC this saturday mean that LSU and Bama are greater than all those years of championships, tradition and heisman's from USC? No.
Saying TN represents the SEC's best is laughable. You're better than that.
That said, I have Oregon-19.5 in a teaser with Louisville (-5.5)

You're either trolling or just obtuse.
Tennessee is on their 4th head coach since 2008. Their record is 28-34 (12-28 in conference including 2-14 the last two seasons) over that stretch. They are a bad football team.
They will bounce back because of their history and culture, but none of that means shite when talking about the game this Saturday. All that matters is what's on the field, not in the trophy case.

I'd take Tennessee and 28 before I'd take A&M and 7.5.

well i guess it could be worse.. we could be florida losing to an in state rival who wasnt ranked.

It's Tennessee. USC would be a big dog to a lot of the top 10 right now too, so let's not throw too many rocks in your glass house.
ETA: 9/10 because I can see this going for a while.
