Five minutes in and Uzbekistan have stretched their advantage with an early goal.

Anzur Ismailov (who plays somewhere in China) with the goal. Do I smell a winter transfer for Arsenal?

Skeletor finishes out his group with a 100% record.

Meanwhile, Uzbekistan-Jordan is going to extra time.

It's standard extra time, then penalties if necessary.

Hate to see things like this come down to penalties. Hope one or the other pulls it out.

Russia beat Israel, 3-1, to go one point ahead of Portugal in Group F with two matches to play.

Games left for Russia: @Luxembourg, @Azerbaijan
Games left for Portugal: Israel, Luxembourg

Russia definitely with the upper hand.

Switzerland have a 1-0 lead in Norway. A victory by the Swiss would seal their spot as Group E winners.

Switzerland one step closer to Brazil. Lead extended to 2-0 in the 51st minute. Fabian Schär (Age 22, Basel) with both goals.
