How do you get that from what I posted?

Not you. This is the only thread on the board not proposing an Ingram trade.

I think Brees needs to place the deep ball more accurately than than it is necessary to replace Stills as a deep threat.
I agree. And I think the more they play together the more Drew will adjust. He had that chemistry with Meach and Devery so I think he will get it with Stills

Not a burner? So 4.38 is just average speed.

Yeah he's fast. I really think he just ran out of gas on that long run and just focused on protecting the ball

Chad, didn't you read that Brees always under throws the long passes? Vertical game no longer a threat or option.

You think Meach is faster at this point?

Maybe. He's only one year removed from being the 2011 deep threat

Stills was open deep though. Brees missing deep is a rarity

Drew's timing might be off due to his worries bout the oline maintaining their blocks. He was late on his Long short throws

Why don't we just trade Ingram to Detroit for Calvin Johnson?

If only Matt Millen was still their GM. He's a big enough moron he might have gone for that. "Hey Matt, imagine having TWO Heisman winners in the same backfield"

Stills is not a vertical guy

ever seen stills play? like in college and all pre-season long?

just bc he didn't get much separation on two underthrown balls does not mean he isn't a vertical threat like henderson was.

Actually appeared that he tweaked his hammy as he was rubbing the back of his leg as he headed to the bench. He clearly is a burner and can fill that role. He is not Morgan or Hakim fast, but certainly faster than Meachem at this point.

Chad, drew underthrew him twice. If anything he needs to slow up or drew needs more work to get used to his speed.

I disagree. I think he can be, but no ones biting on playaction off of a nonexistent run game.

He can be, but I think Stills can be even better in a more complete role.

Drew had an off game.

***Disclaimer: I love saying our QB had an "off" game throwing for 350+ yds

Stills is the vertical threat and will only get better as the season progresses. He and Brees will get more in sync in practice and I guarantee you'll start seeing them connect on the deep ball.

The trio of Colston-Moore-Stills isn't too shabby.

My heart still thinks stills is more of the diagonal type guy.

I do agree that he is better as an intermediate route guy like Lance Moore because he is a good route runner and has great body control, but I also think he can go deep when needed
