Is 4 a good age to bring your grandson to Tiger Stadium?

IMHO husband and I have tickets for the Kent State game to sit with the Tiger Band after a weekend of reunion activities. As an alumna, it is going to be great but will my 4 year old enjoy the atmosphere? I am hoping that, sitting next to the band, these will be moderately sober and well behaved fans. The band has a code of conduct in uniform.
What do y'all think?

I heard the band is braking out "Neck" for the Kent St game. You're grandson will love it.

4 is a good age. The band will keep him entertained.

I started brining my son at 4 to one game per year. He didn't last through halftime, but did better each year and by the time he was 7 was all the way through the game. He is 10 now and there is no bigger Tiger fan on Earth

Texas A&M also has an honor code. Apparently that doesn't include lying to your coaches and administrators. Nor does it include lying to the NCAA.
Personally, I wouldn't bring a child into the student section. However, the band may drown out the ubiquitous vulgarity.

I think bringing young children is always a bad idea. but i like to watch the game, not worry about the young ones. sitting next to band could be loud. So hopefully the grandson doesnt get scared.

I would say sure... Just be prepared for these inevitable questions...
"Is arse a bad word?"
"Why did she say 'kick their arse' instead of LSU?"

I think that it is great to introduce a 4yo to tiger stadium....just remember that it will be hot, noisy, and 4yo kids don't have an interest in football...so be prepared to leave very early in the game if needed. Don't try to stretch it out too long or it will become a bad experience....

It is debatable. Kent State should be a better game since it won't be close. Just be prepared for the vulgarity and obscenities and to leave early if the kid gets bored.

You'll be sitting next to the alumni band in the south endzone, right? My son has gone to the alumni game each year since he was 4 and sits in that section each year. That area is the best part of the stadium for a young kid, IMO, and the alumni game is generally low key because you're playing a rent-a-win. You will probably want to leave early, but you will all have a great time. Definitely try to get to the PMAC to before the game if you have access! My kid loved that.

I think 8 is about the minimum, but that's just me.

First few posts must be from people without kids. My 6yo cannot sit through an entire game. Tried a few LSU games. Keep testing with H.S. games. Still no way.
Took my then 4yo daughter to 2005 Tennessee game (post Katrina). She lasted 1 half. Worse, there was more rowdy drunks on that Monday night game than usual so we left w/not so great memories for her. She has been in therapy ever since (wink...kidding).
I would plan for 1 good half. Then bring stuff for him to do in 2nd half.

Yes!
eta: Life is short. How many more years do you KNOW you'll be with your grandson?

Anyone who said "yes" doesn't have a kid.
6yrs old is the earliest. In fact I would bring an infant to a night game before I would bring a 4 year old.
They live a sheltered life, being around 100,000 people will freak them out, crowd noise after a TD will scare the shite out of them. Being around drunk adults will confuse them. So many reasons why this is a terrible idea.
Day game - maybe
Night game - never
