I used to always keep my rum punch simple and people loved it. I would usually use a spiced rum and light rum. You could always use a coconut rum if these are for the ladies. Then mix in pineapple and OJ.
You can kick it up a notch with a splash of grenadine, blue curacao, or creme de banana.

Planters Punch
Equal parts good rum, OJ, pineapple juice, 1/2 part lime juice, grenadine to desired color. Add fruit as desired. Very good but will mess you up! Note: the better the rum tastes the better the final product. I use Flor de cana 4 yr old golden. The new Bayou white or spiced would be a good flavor profile in this cocktail.

In San Pedro, on the Belize island of Ambergris Caye, this is called a 'panty ripper'.

Thanks for the replies. Any reccomendations on what fruit to add? I was thinking a ton of sliced citrus, strawberries, maybe even some sliced banana.

Got ten days to infuse your rum with fresh pineapple?

Google LuLu's (Buffet) rum punch recipe.

was in the south of Belize last fall and had some great rum drinks, remember seeing that term on a few bar menus.

I'd think about the bananas. That texture might not work if they're sitting in the liquid for a bit. I wouldn't care of them in my drink, personally. I like banana liqueur, but not slices with the exception of a garnish I can remove.

Google Planters punch, be forewarned it will blind your arse.

Agreed. Fresh wedge of pineapple is magnificent when soaked in a bit of rum though.

Alcohol and nanners are just a bad mouth texture waiting to happen. The only way for it to match is fosters.

One 4th of July, a friend make a punch with I think a handle of light rum, fresh sliced pineapple, hawaiian punch, and a lemon-lime or pineapple drink.
It was really tasty, quite potent (hence the lack of a certain recipe) and once it was all gone, we eat the pineapple chunks.

War Machine

1 L Everclear
24-12 oz. Beers
2 L Sprite
4 Frozen Lemonade (or Lime) Concentrates
Get weird.

I've had a few panty rippers down there, nothing beats it...... And I agree the Bayou Spiced Rum would be great in a Rum Punch
