My New 53 Man Roster Projection

I don't think they'll keep 7 WR's, but what do I know. Nice list.

Projections are always fun.

But I'm pretty sure Andrew Tiller & Marcel Jones get cut.

Also, If I had to base it on this preseason, Olsen's job is in serious jeopardy. Lelito has clearly outplayed him. Harris has had his moments in camp & in games that I think he outright beats Jones for the job.

Olsen is somewhat disappointing because last year he looked so promising as an UDFA when he clearly outplayed Tennant for the backup G/C job, I thought he would be a solid backup for years to come.

eliminate preston parker and insert cadet.. put parker on practice squad

Yeah but that's a position we need good depth at.

Good list. I think they only keep the 3 RBs. I do not see them keeping that many WRs, I am thinking Roby might get the axe, especially if Parker can step into his special teams role.

Robinson to PS, Cadet as either fourth back or the street. Neither will be active on game day unless one of the top three are hurt.

QB Griffin will be PS but he's not under bubble cuts because he is not making the 53.

Position battle means they are fighting with someone at the same position whereas spot means they are fighting with someone at another position.

A few of my cuts came down to special teams. Tanner and Leonhard just miss out because their special teams play isn't as good as the others. None of the 3 bubble safeties have shown much on defense but IAQ has been getting more looks so I'm giving him the edge.

Jones is cut because he can't back up the center spot and you need that. Harris has outplayed him(Harris jumped from 3rd to 2nd string RT and after a couple of injuries Jones got back on the 2nd string as a guard).

I think Reddick gets the nod because of Vilma's health. If Vilma is IRed I think we take another OLB(Atkins).

Vilma can't be PUP because he practiced in training camp before getting hurt. Same as Morgan.

We can take Butler into the season on PUP(his injury was in OTAs) so he hasn't been and won't take up a spot until week 10 I think. Then we see where he's at.
