But, in this day and age, Tommy John is just another surgery that every elite arm is going to have.
It's so standard now it's not even really major anymore, just a bump in the road.
Probably just a matter of time before guys like Kimbrel, Miller, Fernandez, etc. end up having it too.

It was just reported on Espn radio that he will have to miss all of the 2014 season.

This may end up happening but that hasn't been announced yet. I think they plan on resting him first to see if it gets better. TJ will come later if needed.
