Holy shite, I had Fishers Miller/Gillian Barre Syndrome also Belles Palsy in Feb. luckily for me, I was diagnosed quickly and started IVIG treatments. If it gets bad, it causes paralysis and shuts down your respiratory system. I have no effects today, but damn, it locked me up and wore my arse down. You can get it from a flu shot.

There was a fight that he won where he suffered a broken jaw and I think he broke the other guy's face/cheekbone. I can't remember the name of the guy, but since he won I'm guessing that's not the one you're talking about.
Mercer beat his arse in Morrison's first title shot, though. I'm guessing that's the one you're talking about?

Yeah, that KO was merciless. Although, Tommy almost knocked him out in the 3rd.

Wow, if the HIV/Aids tests came back positive, but now he can prove he's actually HIV/Aids negative, then isn't there room for a lawsuit against the Nevada gaming commission? The false positive cost him 30+ million.

Tough story to read. I met Morrison once in Las Vegas and have met Mike Tyson in Houston.
Both times I came away wondering these guys could be such bad asses as they were two of the nicest individuals I have ever met

I met him and got his autograph in 1992. He didn't have AIDS then.

I ran into Ray Mercer in Atlantic City at some fights and I asked him what Tommy Morrison did to make him whip his arse so bad?
Mercer said,"He made me fart."
I said, "What?"
He said, "He made me fart. He hit me with a body shot so hard I farted all over the ring. I was scared if he hit me with another one I would shite myself. So I had to get rid of him."

Morrison was doing some significant body work on mercer through the first 3 rounds of that fight.

That's a hell of a compliment coming from the top ten ATG chin of Mercer. Also gives credence to something I heard on here once.
That Morrison had as much firepower as anyone that ever stepped into the ring for the first three rounds.
