I think it all depends on hole distance. but that seems pretty legit.

Im a low handicap and have 1 hole in one. 185 yard hole.

Was playing one morning and heard a cheer than another cheer. got up to the tee and the group in front of us said, "you heard that?" we said yeah hole in one?? guy said that dude had a hole in one then the guy right after him got a hole in one also. Back to back shots on that hole

Thats 1 in every 750 rounds, which is like once a year. The odds seem too low to me.

Once a year? I doubt it.

assuming playing 2 rounds a week this is once every 28 years. That seems right.

Most of them do. You just don't hear about it bc it's during practice. Tiger had like 8 in one year...

I've made two holes in one on the same hole, oddly enough playing with the same people both times.

(technically only one was a true hole in one. The first time, I topped a shot into the water, then aced it with my second for par.)

Is that supposed to be 15,000? That's a ridiculous difference if not.

a father and son in FortBend county each aced the same hole on Father's day earlier this year. there were several other witnesses including people on an adjacent hole that were not with their group.

I think you saw my closest to dunking one on #8 at LSU.

Some real bad math in here.

There's what 3 par 3's a round on average?

so that's 1 hole in one per 1000 rounds for a pro.

Also a lot of hole in one's on Muni courses are like 110 yard par 3's, or 140 yard par 3's.

I'm sure the odds drastically increase as you shorten the hole. I know companies won't insure a hole in one contest that's less than 150 yards.

i'm sure they'd insure a 50 yard hole if you want them to
