I know both guys are explosive but I've been too busy with work to really look at their film. Assuming they both come to LSU who is the better deep threat? Dupre has the size but noil has the electric speed. Is it more that Dupre is the true deep ball guy while Speedy is the guy who can take a 5 yard pass and turn it into a 75 yard td?

Dupre

Noil is a type a guy you want to get the ball in space and let him go to work

Dupre can take the lid off a defense. Hes tall and athletic to go get balls too

No. Malachi runs a 4.6. Randle is faster than him (Ran 4.55 at NFL combine). They're similar players though.

Just curious, why do I always only see these guys discussed as deep threats, but not Quinn? I know Quinn is shorter (but still 6'1") but if reports are accurate he is just as fast or faster. Most of the film I've seen on him includes him getting behind the defense on deep passes.

Not flaming, just curious. I think he is more than just a slot receiver (cue Wes Welker comparison).

I don't think I've seen Quinn compared to a WR who is not white.

Dupre is a better deep threat. Noil is a better home run threat. As in he can take it to the house from anywhere on the field.

I'm pretty sure you answered your own question. if we get those two with Quinn, Upchurch, Diarse and Smith we will be able to show our opponents a new look offense capable of mass destruction. only time will tell.

get ready.

probably because all the scouting reports I've read rave about how advanced/smooth his route skills are and when you couple that with plus hands many immediately see "possession receiver."
frankly, I have to see an electronically timed 4.37 to believe it but it is also obvious that the kid has (ZZTop reference) "got wheels and he knows how to use them."

alot of folks want to compare him to Fitzgerald (no, IMO) and Welker (maybe, IMO) but I like to think of him as more like those two kids atm and tex-arse recently had. that's not a racial bias, just a quick observation with limited/poor quality film to work with. again, JMO.

get ready, get focused and get serious.

Noil reminds me of Tyrann Mathieu but on offense. He just knows how to make shite happen.
