Will Tiger Stadium be noticeably louder once additions are finished?

I am no engineer, but I'd like to think it will make a noticeable difference in sound noise.

3 reason:
- More LSU fans in lower bowl since more visitors will be placed in upper deck
- More people in general
- Most importantly, the new upper deck will trap and echo sound waves

Or am I not going to be able to tell the difference?

That south end zone is gonna be a BITCH if you are the visiting team.

South endzone hit 126 DCB at Vtech game. With 120 being normal human threshold of pain, louder would be impressive.

Good it's about time. It might be half as loud as the north end zone now.

I am hoping it will somehow help echo the student section back into the stadium.

Can't help but be somewhat louder. Now if we could just get all the season ticket holders and students to stay after the 3rd qtr if would be louder longer.

Knew it wouldn't take long for this bullshite to come up. Didn't know it would occur in the first response.

Maybe the newbies arriving in the south end zone will show the old people that sit there how to do it. I hate sitting in that part of the stadium. It's a shame because the south end zone has so much mystique behind it.

Won't that just be more people that leave at halftime to go back into the parking lot?

Hasn't that been a common complaint on here?

Upper South is loud and drunk. Lower South is lame.

Hopefully the direction of the students noise will cause an echo effect a little off of the new upper deck. Trap that noise traveling South into the stadium.

CANT WAIT

That game was fricking loud.

I had to yell at my buddy just to have a conversation. We were about halfway up the West lower.

It will be loud if we can get our fans to stay past half time.

florida 09 was loud as hell, too. I remember reading an interview with Urban Meyer, he said he took off his headset to hear it and couldn't believe how loud it was. But there was never really an explosive play on offense that game. I just kept waiting for the crowd to explode and it never happened.
