florida 09 was loud as hell, too. I remember reading an interview with Urban Meyer, he said he took off his headset to hear it and couldn't believe how loud it was. But there was never really an explosive play on offense that game. I just kept waiting for the crowd to explode and it never happened.

With Cam's love for stretching out defenses with the shot down field, I'm hoping this happens more often. Our crowd really goes nuts for a big offensive play. We have 5 years of frustration built up for one

yup. i don't think we even scored a TD that game. Just kept waiting for it...never happened. We were still loud as hell on defense, though. My ears were ringing it was just ridiculous

Nope. It will be louder, but not noticeable. Standing on the side of the interstate and looking at cars pass, can you tell the difference between a car passing you at 100mph versus 110mph? One is faster but not noticeable after you surrpass a threshold.

I just made all that up. But it makes sense to me.

Can't help but be somewhat louder. Now if we could just get all the season ticket holders and students to stay after the 3rd qtr if would be louder longer.

Yes. Because Tiger Stadium was an empty ghost town after hafltime of the Ole Miss, Miss.State,
South Carolina, and Alabama games.
I couldn't believe how easy it was to leave after the Alabama game ended. There may have been 100 people in the stands, if that.
We got to the I-10 East on-ramp in about 20 minutes. Luckily we had timed every light, or it may have taken 25 minutes!!!!

I have a hard time imagining it being much louder than it already is.

The closing of that endzone would help some no matter what but considering it will maintain the noise from the student section in the opposite endzone I'd imagine it will be more noticeable.

Florida 07 was the loudest game I have ever been to in any stadium for any sporting event. It was nutts.

The concrete was vibrating from the noise.
