I'm fine with a chain if you think it's good. Recommend a dish as well. Taking the little ones, so interested in the food not the best margarita.

TIA

Chuy's off of 75 in Plano is good. We always get the relleno or the sopapilla burrito (burrito made with sopapillas instead of tortillas). There is a place off of 78 called Frankies that is really good. Salmon tacos and mole enchiladas are always kicking.

Had a good meal at La Hacienda last night. Several locations throughout Dallas area.

I eat at Marianno's in Dallas all the time....same thing as La Hacienda. Good food.

Is Marianno's the place in Arlington (or they have a location there) near the ballpark/stadium?

If so, do they have locations in Dallas proper? It was pretty decent, the salsa was good. Had the beef fajitas and the meat was super tender, but had NO flavor what so ever. I read it is because they boil the meat to tenderize it.

I'm trying to find some mouth watering fajitas in Dallas like the ones at Ninfa's in BR.

Maybe. The Marianno's I go to is in Dallas at Skillman just north of Northwest Hwy. It's the Original Marianno's although not the original location. LINK

I like Avilla's. Haven't been in a while. I did try Ricardo Avilla's "Mextopia" which was crap....guess thats why it closed. There is a whole soap opera story with Ricardo quitting the family owned place, Avilla's and opening his own place. He tried to steal all the equipment from the family place.

I like Manny's too. Kinda far south for this thread. The north burbs have quite a few Matt's Rancho Martinez outposts now. It's a good, or I remember the one in Lakewood to be. Get the chili relleno. If you want a scene up in those parts hit up Taco Diner in the Legacy area of Plano for a real housewives of Orange County flavor.
