I printed out the confirmation email I got after I purchased the tickets.

How about some pics and updates for us losers who ended up not making it?

I did strangely enough end up getting an appetizer of smoked and grilled boudin tonight at a restaurant. Pretty damn good, but I'm sure nothing like what you folks are getting to try.

Everything I tried was delicious..........my favorite was the boudin noir with braised greens from Grand Isle.

Justin Develiier from Le Petit Grocery had one my favorites, it was a quail rillette with porridge and andouille

I ate some great food but they sold way too many tickets. Waited in line about 40 minutes just to get into the venue.

yea it was too crowded. Still had a great time.

we waited in line for about 15 minutes. It went fast

Most of the food we had was really good. I thought Devillier's was underwhelming. Brighten's had a horrible spring roll that tasted like it had been sitting there for 2 day. It was inedible.

some of our favorites

blackened out's boudin cake was on point
sue zemanick's korean meatball
Batali's sausage sammie
boudin ball from Boucherie was simple but may have been the best prepared boudin at the event, imo

That sounds so good.

It's too bad it's getting overcrowded. I really want to try this next year. My friend who went said it was a blast.

some ropes to guide people would have been money and kept things orderly. People are just so rude & stupid, they don't know any better.

They'd get their food, stop and try and eat it before they even cleared the rest of the line

Sounds exactly like I would expect. I hate to stereotype rich white people, but they have no regard for anyone but themselves. Long line? Who cares, I'm caught up in this boudin.

Dumbass.
Btw, the rich white people will be at the main event tonight that cost over $1000 a person.

Rich people? Wasn't aware that was a rich person event.

Anyway the line was a cluster frick and the lines to get food at the start were a free for all. After about an hour things got better and there was plenty of good dishes. Next year they either need a bigger venue or less tickets and it would be very good
