Oakbourne beat LeTriomphe 104-76 in a rain shortened vermilion cup. We just get our asses handed to us every year. Me and my partner did go undefeated for the weekend to get 6 of the 76.

Ole man can ball. He only made a 50' birdie putt and a 25' birdie putt a few holes later.

Typical round for me...

+6 through 16 and finish with an 82 hard to read putts in the dark.

Here's the cronology

1 smashed his drive into head wind bout 290
2 rescue left side in some straw bout 80 in
3 wasn't looking but i turned around and saw club flying thru the air I must say it had great elevation, and some force also as it was thrown across the fairway a good 30yd

Lands in a tree and sticks, we finish out i look over and Net is throwing a dozen pack of balls trying to get it out with NO success

I gave him my umbrella, and said try this,
First try beautiful, doesn't comes close to said wedge and it sticks about 30 ft from wedge

Funnier yet the group behind us was watching And I'm sure saying What the frick are those guys doing

Next hole caught us and ask what were ya'll throwing in the tree I politely said a wedge and umbrella are stuck in the tree

That is hilarious.

Shot a 45 today after being in the car all day. Didn't hit my irons well.
