Is your time frame one day or twenty years?

Unless you have some proprietary techniques or information, the quicker you want to double it, the more risk you will need to take on.

Green Zero would considerably more than double his stack!

ETA: if he could even be allowed that limit.

Iraqi Dinars,

You probably want to diversify though so I'd suggest putting a percentage into bitcoins as well

I have much more than 5K, and I want to do much more than double it, in fact I want to double it several times over, EXPONENTS BITCH. But I've got a 30-35 year time frame.

True dat, but I'll set up some trusts so future generations can enjoy some luxuries I never had growing up.

same here. kids will basically be winning the lottery compared to what I had growing up. I want to teach them how to invest in dividend paying stocks, real estate, mutual funds and tax liens. I just might forget about teaching them futures trading.

and of course they will inherit every thing I will have at that time. Can't take it with ya.

What's funny is that this is actually very easy to do and you haven't got a serious answer.

Buy something off craigslist or a car auction and resell it. Easy money. People get in a bind every day. Exploit it.
