Nice pickup for them. A trio of West, Hibbert and Scola down low is very solid. Huge upgrade over Hansbrough, who will be wasting away in Toronto

The Pacers have the largest collection of slightly above average players in the history of the league

along with 2 guys who are top 5 at their position.

Scola is a good addition, losing Plumlee (after losing Psycho T) hurts a little. Still have Mahimi so that's fine. I think a "high energy guy" is needed in the big rotation, they don't have one of those.

George is a top 5 SF

West, George and possibly Hibbert are top 10 at their positions, not top 5 imo

Not really

George is MAYBE a top 5 SF

If you're referring to Hibbert as the other just...no

george is definitely top 5 at his position. The only ones that are better are bron, melo and durant

Scola is a great offensive weapon. But he's not big on that whole defense and rebounding thing. Seems to be a place where others can cover his lack of D/R, and his offense gives hibbert a really nice compliment. Ultimately, I don't like Scola as starter on a team- even as my fifth best starter- but having his ability off the bench is a true luxury

and give me Paul George over melo any. Freaking. Day.

1.how was miles plumlee a 1st round pick, my god he wasn't even that good at duke, no way his numbers were anything of note

2.As a rockets fan, scola is AWESOME, offensively, defensively he is just terrible. So playing 20-25 minutes a night off the bench and just asking for offense is perfect for him he brings all the flopping and charge drawing of psycho t.

3.Danny Granger,Luis Scola,Chris Copeland,CJ watson is probably the best bench in basketball now. Watson was awesome starting in chicago a year ago, scola was a nice starter a year ago, and granger can put up 30 on any night if he's healthy.

4.Indiana,Brooklyn, and Chicago are going to be tough for Miami this year. I don't see wade and bosh stepping up enough to offset any of these teams inprovements. Lebron is gonna be Lebron but Indy and Brooklyn have really really really improved.

5.Miami doesn't make the finals.....Indiana or Brooklyn do

it was the really shitty Plumlee that had no business being a 1st rounder though.

Wow, the Pacers are looking very strong right now. Outstanding bench. Green is super erratic and Miles isn't a good basketball player at all. Unless American Ninja Warrior obstacle courses somehow become a part of the Playoffs, I don't see how his departure hurts the Pacers. Scola is a very crafty player and can be great against back-up 4s.

Pacers realize they have a 2 year window to do something in the East and are going for it.

You're smoking some good shite if you don't have George as top 5 SF.

Centers definitely better than Hibbert:
Gasol
Howard
Duncan(or don't count him-I don't care)

Other centers in the same tier where an arguement can be heard:

Brook Lopez
Noah
Chandler
Cousins(maybe)

I'd take Hibbert over the bottom four, not the top three.
