like I said, count em, don't count em-I don't care. Duncan was, however, First Team All-NBA at the center position.

Hibbert is better than the bottom four in my post.If there are others out there, someone name them.

No way Chicago gets out of the East. They are pretty good, but I am not convinced Rose can get them there. Chicago still faces the biggest problem:

In a tight game a 6'9,260lbs LeBron James doesn't have toguard any wings/bigs that Chicago has(maybe Deng if he's on fire or Butler), he's going to guard Derrick Rose, who is 6'2-6'3 and maybe 200 lbs. That offense dries up pretty quick.

ETA: and Rose doesn't have an outside shot.

And Indiana has Paul George. He can easily get past Lebron, AMIRITE?

Oh, and Brooklyn, has Paul MFing Pierce. He can easily rise up or blow past Lebron whenever he wants.

AMIRITE?

(FYI, late in games Thibs runs the offense through Noah, and this was even in 2012 before Rose tore his ACL.)

None of that has anything to do with Chicago getting past Miami.

So the head coach would rather run his offense through a player who can't get his own shot over Derrick Rose?

What does that tell you about Chicago's realistic chances? It's not like he can kick out to Rose-Rose can't shoot from outside.

Chicago is a great regular season team because of their effort/coaching. They are a second round, maybe conference finals team because of their talent.

So Brooklyn is just a joke of a team bc KG and pierce are old? That is perfect bc now they don't have to carry the load all game till crunch time at which time Brooklyn has 5 guys who all could average 20 ppg on the court to close out games. I'm sorry but the joke is on you if you don't think Brooklyn is the team to beat in the east IF they mesh. That is a big if bc in recent memory all the super teams formed have not meshed well, but at the same time every super team had a superstar who was ball dominant. Brook Lopez,Deron Williams,Joe Johnson, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett are not guys that have to get 20 shots a game. All are great facilitators and then you throw in Jason Terry and Kirilenko off the bench and you have a solid top 7 if they're healthy.

Lebron is a beast but he can't do it all on his own, I'm willing to bet on wade and bosh regressing big time. I stick by Indiana and New Jersey.

I wouldn't stick by New Jersey-they won't win a single game this year.

No, the offense late in games actually functions better with running it through Noah in the high post.

With Rose, it often just stopped because he would wanna take the last shot late in the shot clock.

Once Thibs said frick that, and actually started running plays in the final minutes late in games, the offense looked alot better in crunch time.

KG and PP are old man. They will have their moments, but if you honestly think that a team mainly relying upon Brook Lopez, Deron Williams, and Joe Johnson is the team to beat in the East, then you're delusional.

The East right now is:

1) Miami
2) Indiana/Chicago
3) Brooklyn/New York
6) Atlanta
7) Washington
8) Detroit

Also, I didn't even mention the fact that Jason Kidd has ZERO coaching experience.

Spolestra, Vogel, and Thibs will make him look silly in playoff situations.

I respect Noah's passing and everything, but as long as there is no double and they sag off him a bit, teams can stop that offense.

There is nothing Chicago has done to prove otherwise. No new elite talent coming in, still stuck with Boozer. All this "Chicago Hope" is based off of a team that played well without their point guard, that doesn't make them Eastern Conference champs when he returns.

Of all the top tier franchises- Chicago is my favorite, but they are not the best team in East.

I have them fourth.

I'll gladly eat crow if they make it out this year.

Starting 5:

Rose
Butler
Deng
Boozer
Noah

Bench:

Hinrich
Teague
Snell
MDJr
Murphy
Gibson
Nazr

They will add one more big most likely (according to sources, Marcus Camby will decide between the Bulls and Rockets this week).

Butler is the best 2 guard the Bulls have had since MJ. Shot over 45 % from 3 in the last 2 months of the season, and played very well in the playoffs.

He is the biggest reason right now I feel that the Bulls have a good shot of beating Miami and coming out of the East.

Plus, its about matchups. Remember, Noah was dealing with plantar fascitis throughout the playoffs.

If hes healthy, the Bulls match up very well with Brooklyn and New York.

The Pacers worry me, and I think in a playoff series, whomever has homecourt in that matchup would win the series.

Then its Miami, and if both teams are healthy, I fully expect a 7 game series we've been waiting for since Rose got hurt.

and cue the stat guy running to pull up this shite.

You realize that Hibbert played the entire year with a hurt wrist, right? And when he got healthy his numbers started to climb.

Post All-Star break, when he got healthy, he averaged: 15.7 points,2.5 blocks, 8 rebounds shot .508 % from the field, .798% from the line.

Playoffs:
17/9.9/1.9/.511%/.806%

So he was better in the playoffs- can't discount what that does for a player.

Butler is certainly key.His usage % might actually shrink with Rose coming back and he's not a great shooter from the outside-despite his gaudy # from last year. Honestly I'd listen to every offer coming in for Jimmy Butler.

He may prove me wrong, but Bulls fans in general overvalue this guy.

Yes, but again Noah is still not an offensive genius.
