Cam will be running this offense.......obviously, Les will have weekly input on preps, but Cam is a very strongwilled person with a philosophy he is willing to be fired over. This is Cams offense.

Total bull. Jimbo was bubble screens and other route mismatches to create open WRs, with a very multiple running game including some zone blocking. (We've done none of that since.) Crowton was short routes, spreading the offense horizontally both with routes and with run selection. Last two years we were power running with vertical route running etmphasis. Three TOTALLY different emphasis in both the passing game and running game.

Load of BS

Crowton was put on choke down during 08 and Les never relinquished control. Crowton said it was Miles offense, and when asked Miles said it was 'LSUs offense' By demoting Stud, you also know Miles wasn't confident in him

But we do know that Can WILL call his own plays, to the point of being fired

The stats will tell the final tale. If our O doesn't rank close to 100 again, then we will all know that Miles was holding the team back

Yeah crowton proved he was being held back at lsu by going to Maryland, qb killing an all conference player and getting fired in a year.
You are fricking retarded.

The packaging of plays and formations we run have changed some from OC to OC, but the concepts we run are almost exactly the same.

Sorry you don't understand football.

This x 50 billion. It's Les Miles core football philosophy that's the problem, not his play calling.

Play on words from Les. He's never actually "called plays" but he was telling Stud and Crowton when to run or pass. I dont think there's any doubt about that.

Laughing so hard that really made me cry.
Would that be considered a promotion or demotion? Hard to tell with such a huge setting change like that.

i never baught into him actually calling plays.

yeah he has a say, but if you watch the games there is no way he calls the plays.

O would be in huddle and Les doesnt have a head set on. or hed be talking to the refs, talking to a player, doing his seal clap. etc...

even if he did call plays, hed be responsible for some of LSUs best offensive teams ever. look back at 02 and 04. those offenses were worse than anythung miles has fielded.
