Wanting to get my kids a gas 4 wheeler to upgrad from the the powerwheels. I need something inexpensive, yet durable and reliable. Whats the best bang for my buck? I would like to stay away from the cheap chinese crap if I can.

RZR 170...Then tell your wife you need a fullsize ranger to keep tabs on the pups.

Your best bet would probably be to check around and see what you can find used if you're wanting to stay away from the knockoff stuff. You should be able to find something like a TRX90 or LT80 for $1000 or less.

The company that makes the Polaris 50 and 90 is called Alpha Sports. If you can find a dealer this is the way to go. The 90cc used to be about $1000 cheaper. I think I I paid about $1300 for the 90 cc I bought my daughter.

There is a group on FB called ATV swap shop. They have 20k members. It would be a good place to ask, they have kids bikes come up fairly often.

My little guy will be due an upgrade this time next year. My first choice will be a Suzuki LT80 if I can find a good used one.

I sent my request for the swap shop Dave.

We were at BPS saturday and my oldest wants a sport quad while the youngest wants a utility atv. I'm just going to buy one for now, do ya'll think it makes a difference if the bike has racks or not for kids?

A rack would be good, you can make them the designated beer chest hauler.

What age did y'all let your kids start riding these small ones. My girl is close to 5. She handle the Dora jeep ok. Thinking about possible Christmas presents.

My youngest is 5 and my oldest is 7. The 5yo handles his power wheels better than his big bro. Every kid hits that mark at different times. You just have to judge when they're ready.

Pops just let me drive his.

Getting past 2nd gear was punishable by death. Over reving was also punishable by death. Never did I ever try it.

I picked up a honda 1985 atc 70 a few months back. Had one as a kid. In gonna restore it and drop a bigger engine in it for a hobby.

200$ on Craigslist in West Virginia. It's so much fun to have around might not do anything now. It stays in my truck and we bust it out everywhere. Cops laugh at us to see grown men on a kids bike. I rode it around while tailgating at the pirates game the other day. We were timing laps around the parking lot. Must have had over 100 people post a time. Two cops got on it.

FIL bought the 170 rzr for the kids. Really good machine. I'm 6' and can even drive it, although a little cramped. I have a little trailer for it and they take the garbage to the road and other chores for me.

Mine do that now with the powerwheeels. I have the little red wagon tied to the grab bar on the yamaha powerwheels 4 wheeler or when they have the F150 theres a little slot in the back of the seat that the cable fits into. They haul everything around my place including each other.
