I was never a beef jerkey eater until about 2 years ago, but it is quickly becoming my go-to road trip snack. I've tried the peppered kind from Jack links, but that's it.

Give me some recommendations.

I like all of Jack Links. Just had a little road trip today and bought the Hot and Spicy jerkey from Jack links

Not necessarily convenience store, but the Costco beef jerky is great...and cheap.

Loves truck stop has my fav beef jerky. It is thin and tough but i like the flavor and it is a great timekiller.

Go to benoit's in addis and get some homemade stuff. Goo balance of texture. Not too tough not too tender and good amount of spice.

Interesting flavors, made by a friend of mine, and quite delicious.
