My dad is a big health nut and swears by its positive effects. Just wondering if anyone could share some knowledge on it.

Baste grilled chicken and pork with it.

I put it in BBQ marinades and sauces, does that count?

Sure, even though I was looking for more detox experiences than anything

What Otis said, can't say I have any experience with detoxing with it.

I do a shot of it every day. It has a myriad of positive health effects. The one I have noticed is my back acne I usually get in the summer has cleared up.

Pick up a spray bottle for about a buck at Lowe's or Home Depot, add some apple cider vinegar, and you've got a great way to keep your ribs moist. Spraying is better than mopping because mopping disturbs the dry rub.
Apple cider vinegar is also a key component in my Sauerbraten.

Somehow I'm fully expecting some sort of Summer's Eve quip from Burt R.

My Parents drank several Shots a day - back in the mid-60's.
They both died relatively young.

I drink one tbsp with water and a squirt of honey most days. Who knows if it is making me healthier but I do have less heartburn.

thanks for the feedback, everyone. I agree it seems like it's not conclusive that it's as healthy as alleged, but it really helps me after I eat a heavy meal. I suppose I'm going to stick with it.

If you don't want to have it straight, mix 2 tsp organic ACV with 8oz water (or more) and 1 tbsp (as desired) of raw honey. Do not brush your teeth soon after the shot, the acidity messes with the enamel on your teeth. Mixing it with water is preferred method (but I shoot it).
I have made delicious salad dressing with it as well. Tbsp of ACV, olive oil, garlic, S&P.
I read the little Bragg's ACV book and it's got lots and lots of benefits. Immune system, muscles, bones, digestion, skin (taken orally or applied with cotton ball directly), hair, energy levels and many others.

I thought you were supposed to brush right after to get the acidity off your tooth.

I'm not sure now that you say that. I just down water after so that's my method of rinsing. Should I be brushing right after?

Why would you not have used ACV before?

I started taking it in tablet form after reading it helped some people with acid reflux. Seems to have had a very positive affect, and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than Nexxium.

I've used it before in recipes.
Is it some sort of superfood?

I put about a cap full on top my plate of red beans and rice... gives it a little bit of zip.

I know that it will clean the crap out of cast iron. Fill up a pan or pot with it and watch it go to work for about four or five days. It will restore it to new. Meaning, it eats everything off.
