Had never watched this guy before this current Gold Cup.
He has been a very pleasant surprise. He has been great passing the ball, and at times, his passing has been very direct, which is something we need when facing a packed box.
He also has had a bunch of shots from outside of the 18, usually on frame. Thats also something we need when we play the Concacaf parked buses. Amazing to me is that he has gotten almost all of these shots through the bodies without a deflection.
I love that he's aggressive and taking shots and also putting them on frame.
Defensively, he's not great. But the effort has been there. Have witnesses several sprint backs and covering for other guys.
I don't know if he is (or will be) good enough for the WC next year or in 5 years, but I think he can definitely be an asset in qualifying.
Call him the anti Beckerdreads?

I like him a lot. Our next 2 games should be more challenging than the first 2. I'd like to see him in the starting line-up the rest of the way. Has been our best player besides Donovan, Wondo, and Onyewu so far.
I think he's much more likely to get playing time with the A team than Torres.

At least spell his name correctly
How has Onyewu been playing? I haven't seen enough of the games to really watch him that in depth.

He's still young and developing. Also, I would love to see him transfer to a better league.

His name gets butchered on this board.
Diskerud.

By his fifth cap, I'll have it right. But may start putting an extra W in there to see if what works for Wondo will work for him.

but he has shown great upside, he plays with a sense of urgency on the ball which is nice. he also appears to have a very powerful leg and is a legit threat from 25+ yards out on goal.

He needs to make a move to Holland if he can.

Any creative midfielder with a long range shot is gonna have a chance to play for us. And I think he is a must start for us in remaining knockout games. He is not as easy on the eyes as Stu, but his consistency in the attacking half is hard to ignore.

There is a mini pipeline with the other young Norwegians to the Bundesliga. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing him there. I was looking at his Twitter pics earlier today and he's actually a pretty funny guy, cool fricking story I know. I've probably got 1000 other ones.

Bundesliga and Eredivise are great options.
He has the most technical flair of any of our midfielders. Damn fine passing range. Love his game.

Would've been cool for him to have moved to Portland in January or whenever that was. Rosenborg is probably better though, he would've been 'stuck' in the MLS for a few seasons.
