Northwest of Montgomery, AL at my folks place. Out in BFE. Can't wait until they move. It's a drag around these parts. Nice property though. My stepdad moved here for work about 3 years ago after living their entire lives in Louisiana. They describe it as "backwards."

Off topic but r2r what are your thoughts on hell´s kitchen? I'm going to NYC for a follow up interview in a week, doing potential preliminary living scouting. This was suggested by a buddy up there since I might end up living solo at first and that shite is killlller there and it seemed reasonably affordable versus LES/LWS/Village areas. I'd be working in midtown fyi, other reason was suggested. Also is there such thing as a decent beer bar that is not packed to the gills every single night? Thanks in advance.
