Very impressed with RuinTen. The nose is unreal. Def one of the best DIPA I've had. Too bad I can't get any around here

I agree about the nose. When you first pour it in the glass it is incredible. I get tired of drinking it after one glass though. It is just too cloying and bitter for me on the back end.

It was great. We have the same feelings about The Grand.

Had a great time at the grand the only time I have been. Awesome pool. Apparently the wife loved te spa, the bill and room service proves that.

FBD - which is also FB of the weekend (turning over a new leaf not drinking on work nights) - GL Elliot Ness

I absolutely love hanging out at the pool there. One of my few complaints about the place is the shitty beer selection, so you just have to bring your own--no big deal.

Yes, Sculpin is way good. All the Ballast Point and Great Divide stuff I saw on my beer run was too old to buy. Work is going to suck this week.

Great offering from Crosscut Brewery!!

My wife tasted it and instructed me to save it for her once she is done with work tonight. She really liked it which is interesting because she isn't a big consumer of the style.

Conecuh sausage, fricking Yankee.
(Note I am more appalled by the sausage than beer)

SBD - GL Rye of the Tiger. Haven't had it in a couple weeks, thought I liked it more, but it is kind of bitter this time.

At a buddies camp south of Kaplan on the intercoastal waterway drinking a variation of shitty beers while cooking before going frogging and gator hunting tonight. Million dollar camp literally 9miles from the nearest piece of civilization.

Good times, just wish I had some good beer.

My guest from the weekend left and my friends showed up and caught me off guard. Not a good excuse, but all I got.
