New Louisiana Tech **Patriotic** Helmets...

Likely Germans, but Tech has unveiled their new patriotic theme helmets for their game versus Army this fall. Is it just me or is Tech trying too hard to "out-America" West Point?

Just a side note, but has anyone else wondered why Tech has not merged with Grambling State? They are located in essentially the same town. I guess the Tech administration wants to keep things stuck in the 50's.

Regardless of what alot of people think, Tech is a pretty good school to get an education at... Why would they want to absorb Grambling and bring their GPA down?

I'm not sure, but Jackson really needs to host a bowl game over Shreveport's Indy Bowl or New Orleans' Sugar Bowl.

Consolidating the schools will help the state of Louisiana save money and offer a more diverse student population. This should progress north la schools into the 21st century.

I didn't realize students at Grambling couldn't apply to go to Tech instead.

Really dude?! Wow.....just wow. Its sad that it has to be explained to you since there are so many reasons. Lets just stick with the main one......Grambling has a HORRIBLE academic reputation! And if (& thats an EPIC IF ) they ever tried to merge the two schools, Rainbow Push Coalition & the Race Profiteers would be marching in the streets. ULM has a much better chance being merged into Tech. So by your logic, Southern should merge w/ LSU. Dumb arse
