JAE, if you would do me a favor and check out Bama's default roster and tell me which QBs and RBs are listed, and if Fowler is at FB.

Some numbers aren't known yet for Freshman, so just tell me their size and their class.

Numbers known :

AJ McCarron - 10
Alec Morris - 11
Blake Sims - 6
Cooper Bateman - 18
Parker McLeod - I actually don't remember. 14 maybe?
Luke Del Rio - Don't remember.

TJ Yeldon - 4
Kenyan Drake - 17
Derrick Henry - 3
Jalston Fowler - 45
Dee Hart - 1

Obviously the roster guys at OS will make the proper fixes, but I'm curious as to who EA put in the game.

Glad you cut down that number from last year.

Damn. Exporting draft classes is back in this version. Looks like I'm getting Madden too. Loved that feature.

I wanna know how this ties into the CC Social Media feature when they talk about prospects.

I didn't pick up 13 but still play my 2012 dynasty regularly.

Have they made any significant changes to the dynasty?

TIA

Read the Kotaku review from the link on page 1. Pretty much goes over some of the dynasty changes. Recruiting is different since they are now using a point-based system. You can also scout prospects to find gems and avoid busts (like in the 2013 game). You can also earn experience points as a coach, which you can use to unlock skills that give you you recruiting and player advantages.

Yeah that review basically said the changes to Dynasty mode and the inclusion of Ultimate team is why he considers it the best game of the franchise so far.

With dynasty as you've probably noticed already the days of calling are gone. You now get a set number of points per week based on your coaches "skill level". You use those points to scout prospects, offer scholarships, "pitch" to them, and schedule visits. Recruiting is less time consuming in the aspect of actually calling recruits but they have also made it deeper. Recruits now get bonuses automatically if you have a high grade in things they are interested in, bonuses are also given if you schedule recruits to visit together and also depending on who you play that week. There's a lot to write about as far as recruits go; there is an entire tutorial you can watch on the game.

I haven't really looked into coaching carousel. I do know that each coach now has his own stats and stuff so certain coaches are now more prestigious then others. This may fix the offer situation a poster was talking about.

The read option is out of control in online ranked that's all these kids are running now. They don't even mix it in. The two kids I played that ran normal offenses quit at halftime.

Rtg is shite as usual.

Man. I like and hate that they improved on the Read-option. That's been a big part of my game in 13 and I'll probably be labeled a cheeser in 14

No there is a difference between running the option, and running the hurry up option audibiling to different sets and crap.

I run a multiple style so I mix in the option here and there. Funny enough though its actually pretty easy to slow down the option I've found out. It messes up reads and causes people to play real football.

Player progression in dynasty mode is still pretty gay. The number of 99 and 90+ players is ridiculous. Without recruiting on heisman all user teams will be 99 overall in about 2 years.

Really? Well damn. Yeah, it took me about 4 years in my last dynasty to finally get my team to where I wanted it bc I started out as a lowly Miami team.

I would think with the new points recruiting system you could throw it all into skill positions and stack up QB, RB, WR, MLB, DE, and FS and run the table.

This makes me sad. I don't get why it's so hard to make a good RtG. Just keep the camera behind my player at all times

With Heisman recruiting the CPU will actually grab some of those top ranked prospects as well so it'll even itself out. With all American recruiting the 12 users always end up with the top 10 recruiting classes grabbing majority of the all American players.

Going to run through a few season when I get home and report back.

The game is still going to suck. In about 2 weeks this and all other gaming boards across the internet will be covered with threads and topics about how they made improvements in areas A, B, C, while areas D, E, F all remained the same and areas G, H, I all took steps back.

Same shite different year in short.

I have one day left on my season pass so I'll download the early release and play it a bit tonight but my expectations are pretty low. It's still the same company that has given us the previous shitty NCAA titles.

Judging by your post count, you must be new here. This is what people do, they bitch about a game, yet the get it anyway. We all find the humor in it, you should too.
