watched this last night. It's all so blatantly faked I'm not sure how the people are buying in. like a game show contestant is really going to die on set and they are just going to carry on like normal just giving the rest a chance to opt out for 5 grand? and these people are like crying and shite that poor Tommy got eaten my the forest monster.

Well I just read more about the show, so I get it now... I only watched half of it last night and never heard anything about it. Anyways, given that it is a scripted show parodying reality shows, with mystery elements, maybe it works. I wouldn't bet on it though.

He did. Or should I say the character did. IT IS A SCRIPTED SHOW written to reflect a reality show.

One of my friends on Facebook is a writer for the show. Didn't realize it was a reality show. I've DVR'd it, but have yet to watch it.

I watched it last night and thought it was a solid pilot. I have a feeling it won't interest people enough ala The River and it will get cancelled.

I have to agree, it probably won't interest enough people. I am already having trouble with it... It would be better if it was scripted but only part of the cast knew or something I think.

It's just too hokey for me. Maybe I'm dumb but I just couldn't get past the scripted reality aspect.
Take the reality part out maybe, change to a bunch of people just hunting for some treasure or shite in Siberia and maybe I could buy it. The winner gets "500k" stuff just made me feel dumb for trying to watch it when we know its not a contest
I can suspend much but not that much I think.

I agree with all that, it would be better if it was scripted but only some on the show knew... or some variation... it is hard to watch... but for some reason I am watching.... not sure for how long.
