Look I owned a 360 last generation, but this letter pretty much summarizes exactly how I feel about the X-Box One and why I'll likely convert to the PS4: they're treating me as if I'm an untrustworthy piece of shite and that I have to have them in my life. The thing is, I don't. XBox just got the biggest asspounding E3 has ever seen, and they've got a lot of ground to cover if they want to make up for it with gamers in general.

If you were to buy a game on PC, would steam be treating you like "an untrustworthy piece if shite"

I scanned the "letter" but it appears he's leaving Xbox because of their attempted DRM policies and going to Steam?

Interesting

details?

IF you are refering to the DRM, the sharing plan was a great idea. If they had made to where you only need to connect to the internet the first time you use the disc, I would have been fine with it.

This. And if you are used to Xbox live, playstation network is considered a downgrade. Most people that start of on xbox live can't stand psn. There is a chance this could change with next gen though

I have both and don't really have a problem with PSN. Granted, I don't use all the features of either service but PSN has done fine for MLB.TV, netflix, and online play.

[quote]So this is goodbye, Xbox. I genuinely wish you the best. Take care of yourself. If you ever decide you're tired of living life in the fast lane and want to slow down, trim off some of your monetary demands, ditch your paranoid spying devices, and just hang out with normal, everyday people, give me a call. Until then, I'll be butt-fricking Borderlands 2. Read more: LINK ]

yeh, it's a shame they don't have millions of millions of dollars to blow in an effort to make up any ground they may may have lost...

just so everyone knows, this dude has spent years pimping Nintendo's hot garbage, so take everything he says with a grain of salt.

I've hardly compared the Wii as a console favorably toward the 360 or PS3. The hardware is quite a step down. I just buy their consoles for their first party titles, and that's basically it. Whenever a new good game comes out, I definitely wipe the dust off the old Wii and am glad I have it on standby. I think as long as Nintendo makes good games, I'll probably buy it. I get one of the bigger consoles to go alongside it.

The only reason you think of me as a "Nintendo pimp" is because I don't blindly demonize it like most this board does and don't blindly wack off to the thought of an Xbox.
