The single Liver Bird makes me think of the glory days. European Cups especially. I love it.

Man United have lost 3 times in 2014 and we are only 7 days into the year. Incredible #bbcfootball

Ready for some official transfer news. Rodgers did so well last January, I have hope that he'll pull in someone this window that will really help the team.

You have to think that with our position and the struggles at other places, Fenway has to feel that a little extra money now can be a huge boost for our future.

yeah, I was hoping to have some deals taken care of prior to the window opening up and ready to be announced by now...

Still too early to be concerned, but we are fighting for CL places, so get some players in that can contribute now! Dont squabble over a couple million here and there, the financial windfall of CL will cover that...

I was really hoping for someone before Stoke. And to be honest, while Salah could certainly be used, I'm not completely convinced he's be anything more than a glorified Borini (in terms of a successful signing). I hope I'm wrong, but since that's my honest opinion I'm ok with haggling over the fee.

I think Salah is an actual wide player as opposed to Borini, but yeah, he's not a sure thing...

I know, I meant in terms of his ability translating from his former club to Liverpool. I've watched him for awhile and don't think he's going to be as immediately successful as others do. I think his touch is incredibly poor but his speed bails him out 9/10 times. That won't ever work in the EPL.

Yea that's what I've read. And most of his highlights show him making good runs to get in behind, but using his speed. Not too sure, but at this point he looks like a slightly more advanced Sterling. I wouldn't be opposed to the signing, but not sure if he'd be a sure thing to step right into the starting XI

Transfer Spotlight: Liverpool to compete with Arsenal for long-term transfer target Anderlecht star Cheikhou Kouyate LINK

Anybody know about this guy? ...a Centreback/defensive midfielder would certainly help.

Holy shite the finish on that through ball.

His versatility would be a huge plus. But why start the highlight reel off with a missed header??

BR says Agger out 3-4 weeks with a calf, thankfully Sakho is back training and will be in the team for the weekend..

Hopefully, we see Studge's return, too...

Also, its been interesting hearing BR talking about Sterlings ability at RB...

Could be an ideal position for him... with Studge coming back and Glen looking like hes disinterested

Both Sturridge and Sakho are fit for the game at Stoke on Sunday.

I absolutely love his offensive capabilities from RB, and his defensive footwork isn't that bad, but he's so short! Not that that matters considering none of our back line is worth a shite in the air.
