The M stands for Market. It's American Market. Just funny how things like this can catch on

I remember freshman year (08') when people would talk about going to AM Mart. I thought they were saying "Ann Mart" so I spent most of my first year wondering what the hell they were talking about

Wasn't until sophomore year that I experienced the joys of AM Mart.

It was AM Mart from 2003-2008 when I was there. I stopped going as much when it was sold to the Asians around 2005. Anyone remember Andy, the Middle Eastern guy who used to hit on all the ladies?

Cajun Turkey on wheat with pepper jack, onions, mustard and mayo, Spicy Cajun Craw-Taters and a 64 oz drink for $5.97 was tough to beat.

I grew up in Riverbend and it has always been AM Mart and I have never heard AM Market. And "AM" is short for American.
