Per a poster on this board.

Blue water has pushed way out...

We only went about 32 miles south of Belle Pass and it was solid green. There was broken grass everywhere, but nothing blue.

Well sometimes when your in green water you can look back and the water that gets stirred up is blue/blueish

usually just meant there is only a small top murk layer

Nah, it was pretty solidly green. The "muddier" water ended around 10 miles and turned a nice green.

The ocean is fricking blown out this weekend so no salmon trips for me.

Maybe it's time to do some of those honey-dos to keep the ole lady happy. Turning wine barrels into planters and smiling about it.

Blue is east and west of mouth of river, mars, medusa, thunder horse in river. Lobster and Eni look to be on the blue line. So you have a 60 mile cruise. Surface current, depending on how strong it is, is pushing it in from SW.

There's a finger of river water dropping way down to SE. Looks like a big comma. Blue is still about same mileage from Mars

Gold Rush Days festival. Not much to it, but some fun competitions. Unfortunately it's competing against the same people every year.

Goes without saying but i am going to say it anyway - be safe brother! Post some pics when you get a chance. Used to dive and spearfish some with one of the original Get Em guys a long time ago. Have not spearfished in years - still dive on occasion though. Hated hearing about the incident this past weekend and pray for safe diving for all of you guys. Good Luck!

Thanks bud!

I always dive safety first, fish second

As I was telling one of my friends just getting started; It's the fear of dying down there that keeps me safe and coming back to the boat each time. I never want to lose that fear
