I don't know jack shite and would like your opinion. I know the players have to execute, but coaching has to fix the issues as well.

Put it like this a move needs to be made just like we went out and got Dunn we need to go get somebody comparable.

Blame Mainieri. The buck stops with him. For the 2nd straight game, he failed to make any adjustments.

I will take you seriously if you posted this same question after the regular season, regionals and super regionals. If not just go away.

That is what I am thinking. I swear this is like Miles and the offense. One fuk up year with Mallveto and he gets Chavis. Yet we had to put up with Crowton after 07 ship and then Stud and finally makes a move.

Don't see why PM can't do like he did with Dunn and make a move. If it doesn't pan out, so be it, but at least try.

LSU baseball is not judged by anything but College World Series performance.

These hitters have been hitting all their life....do you really think bregman will listen to a hitting coach?

It's more on PM than anyone. Javi might not be the sole problem but he definitely isn't helping either.

Coaching decisions were just terrible at Omaha. No doubt about it.

With Stud, Miles hired from within. Should we give Blake Dean a shot at the hitting coach?

You think an 18 year old knows all there is about hitting? Albert Pujols listens to hitting coaches.

As someone who played college baseball I think it has more to do with the overall mental approach than it does with fundamental hitting.

The situation appeared to big for these Tigers. That's on PM.

It's quite clear a change at hitting coach needs to be made.

We are good against mediocre pitching but really need someone with experience and expertise against good pitching.

It's been an issue and it will be until we hire a qualified coach. He makes no adjustments.

What exactly was terrible? They practiced laying off and getting on top of high fastballs all week long. At some point the players have to perform.

I agree with you. Hopefully they will weigh in on this. I would like to know their opinion.
I never thought we would be done in 2 after the season we had.

I agree, which is why I asked those on here that know more than most, but not more than Javi, their opinion. Easy to talk shite when you don't know what you are talking about.

Well, I certainly hope so.

I wish he would demonstrate it in clutch situations.
