This could be an exciting run for the championship, and It all comes down to pitching from this point forward. 4 games in a row.

Glenn
Eades
Bonvillain/Newman
Nola (Friday or Sat)

Cotton, LaMarche, Fury & Rumbelow all ready for relief.

I believe we can do this too

about your rotation

Glenn (tuesday)
Eades (thursday)
depending who we face Nola should go friday or saturday. I want a rodon vs Nola match up if that happens.

Why the frick would you want this? Dude is the most dominating pitcher in this tournament. Why in the hell would anyone WANT to face him?

Is Newman on the CWS roster? I wondered about this last night after the loss.

Of course this team can do it.

Our toughest game this week will be Tuesday IMHO. Win that one and I think we stomp UCLA after NCS beats them and then we will have to play good ball to beat NCS twice.

People around here are masochists I reckon....they didn't get enough anemic offense last night against an ace that isn't even close to Rodon's league

Yep, pitch Nola against the ace in either scenario.

In. LSU did it at Hoover, they can do it in Omaha.

I'm not saying I want to face him, but what I'm saying if we do end up facing NCstate and we know that he would pitch the saturday game we hold off Nola till Saturday and pitch one of our midweek guys friday.

if we have to face rodon I want nola to face him. (that is what I should have said)

its hard to think straight after a devastating loss like that

You have 1 loss, one more you go home. You dont get cute, you do every thing in your power to not lose again.

yes this is a good point, but if we don't face rodon with Nola we have no chance to beat them.

It really doesn't change that much. LSU can still win this thing. It's not like a big softball tournament where an early loss means you play 10 games instead of 4.

I seriously don't think we can win 4 in a row playing small ball with these teams. We should have had 4 HRs last night.
