Ever have one of THOSE Days?

Ok..weekend started ok...spent more time working on my truck than I wanted to...come to find out..the guys who installed the aux tank in my Dad's truck (now my truck) used 3/8" hose to go over a 1/2" steel fuel line...how they made that fit? Beats me...but I fixed the pin-hole diesel leak and when back with 1/2" fuel hose to replace the steel tubing in that area. Ok..Fuel issue fixed. Check.
Now to go get a new riding mower since my 2005 Troy built gave up the ghost. Lowes here we come. Got it back home, checked the oil.Good. Added a bit more to bring it all the way to full, fueled her up....everything was going great then WHAM...hit a patch of heavy grass...Brand new Briggs starts clattering like the 2005...then the smoke came..and came in VOLUMES....shut it down. Yep, burned some oil. Dipstick way down. Parked it. Guess that sumbitch is going back. Wow. Then went to wash my hands...faucet puked on me. Instead of flow..I get spray. Wow. I can live with the faucet..just annoying. I quit. Gonna kick back and watch some baseball.

That sucks dude. Sorry to hear. I actually had a pretty good day. Found a knife that I didn't realize was lost from when I moved four years ago got to watch all of the US Open and got to take the kids fishing.

Had a pretty good morning hike. Walked around Mendenhall Lake. Ran into some tourists hiking, convinced one to take off shorts down to underwear, walk in lake to check out the ice.

Dang....I should have opt'ed for the Alaska trip today.
Would have much rathered that sight than looking up at diesel lines on a Chevy. Not to mention covered in said diesel when I broke it loose.
Well, let's just say the OB will be one of the first to know if my luck is changing later this week. Let's just pray.

I feel your pain, that was me last Sunday with the final thing being a broken AC at my house.

GRRRR....it keeps coming. Now with T-storms in the area DirectTV on the blink just in time for the LSU game.

Mine us simple. Dryer circuit breaker kept tripping and replace breaker. Trash compactor motor burnt up today. 45 mins before LSU game that I waited all day for, 16 yr old comes in with redeye shad crank bait stuck in his hand. ER trip and now just removed it. Glad it wasn't stuck in his eye, face, or cods!
