I think another team actually hired away the fetch monster.

Loved playing pick up football games on the ramps during the saints games with the mini white saint footballs. You could mess somebody up if you checked them into those rough walls.

Being 7 years old and my grandma cursing..yelling "run n...... run" sitting around a group of fans from Atlanta tops the charts for me..

I loved playing pick up football in the ramps. Other favorite dome memories include JPRD football having one game each year at the dome before Tulane games. That was awesome for a ten year old!

45,152 spectators watched the Yankees beat the Orioles 9 to 3 on March 15, 1980
First time ever in the Dome for me
All I can really remember is playing on the ramps more than watching the game
But I remember being in awe. It was just fricking huge at that age

Smoking weed in the terrace ramps next to the huge air intakes during halftime. Lookouts at each corner, kind of like smoking cigs in bathroom in high school. leaving at halftime to go to Hyatt to buy more booze. circa Bum and Mora years

Brett Farve throwing across the middle in that championship game before the Superbowl win has to stand out as the best memory I've had in 4 plus decades of the Superdome

those are the worst jerseys in saints history...
I was wondering what happened to carol of the bells...

One of my favorite experiences was in 2006..
It was a loss to the Bengals but I really enjoyed seeing Brees throw for 510 yards in person.

I remember going to the games as a kid and playing football on the ramps inside the dome.

Of games I attended in the Dome..
Good memories:
-Opening day 1978. Tommy Myers intercepts Tarkenton in the Saints end zone and returns it 105 yards for the clinching TD. 31-24 Saints
-Opening day 1987. Saints upset Cleveland
and Bernie Kosar 28-21.
-1991. Saints destroy Bear 28-6.
-2006. Opening night. The Gleason block. Deafening.
-2006. Playoff win over Philly
-2009. Destruction of New England.
-2009. NFCCG win over Vikings. Shed a few tears.
Bad memories:
-1978 Big Ben 20-17 loss to Dirty Birds
-1979 40-34 OT opening loss to Dirty Birds
After this game, a bunch of Atlanta buffoons are stomping down the Poydras Street ramp cackling:
"ATTT-llllannnna.......ATTT-llllannnna.....And in between each AT-llannaa, an elderly Saints fan yelled "F - U" !! lol
-1979 42-35 MNF loss to Raiders after leading 35-14 in the 3rd quarter.
-1988 Playoff loss to Vikings 44-10 after a rowdy start.
-1991 Playoff loss to Falcons and Haynes
-1992 Playoff loss to Eagles

I love bringing new people to the Dome and watching their face when they see inside for the first time.
I used to love that one game they played on the jumbotron; the one where they hid keys under a cup and shuffled the cups all around. You had to guess which cup it was under, and it was never the one it was supposed to be under. They haven't done that in about 3-4 years, its been replaced with the McDonalds and crawfish ones

I was actually at the Seahawks game where Tubbs got that INT, and it was great considering that I kind of liked the Seahawks then and still do, today.
I was also there with the playoff win against the Rams, and blared the horn in the parking garage after to the "Who Let the Dogs Out" chant.
But, as always, nothing tops being in the Dome that first game back against Atlanta in 2006. Nothing. Even the NFCCG against the Vikings comes in at a close second.

Earliest memories:
First Saints game: 1979 Saints 34, Falcons 40 OT
Chuck Muncie throws a halfback option to Wes Chandler for a TD.
In OT the long snapper snaps the ball over Russell Erxleben's head and he throws it to a Falcon who returns it for the game winning score.
Later that year: Monday night against Oakland. Saints 35, Raiders 42. Got Jimmy the Greek to autograph my program. Saints return an int for a touchdown (Kenny Bordelon I believe) early in the second half to put the Saints up 35-14. All down hill after that and we lose by 7.

Man there's so many for the driveman. He started paying for his season tickets in 2000
Marching through the Hyatt buying $1 before passing buddy to head into Mecca
Remember the 49ers game where the stadium caught on fire
Getting the business after losses walking to the car for wearing the AB jersey
Who let the dogs out and carol of the bells in December
2006 return to the DOME being the loudest he's heard any stadium at any time.
Hakim dropped the ball
MNF vs the rams where they started throwing beer bottles in the endzone bc of a bullshite PI call
Mike Anderson running for 800 yards
Just some of the few brothers

First dome experience was watching the Yankees play (I dont know who) but I loved it. My first Saints game in the dome was the 42-0 arse whooping of the Denver Broncos. We had one couple in the middle of all the saints fans with a Broncos sweatshirt on. By the third quarter it was gone and he was cheering for the saints (i imagine only to guarantee he walked out alive)
