I bought the game a couple months ago for $60 
got tired of all the call of duty bullshite, but battlefield takes a little getting used to.

All of it. The multiplayer is just so phenomenal.

One of the best sound FX for a game I've played. If you happen to be able to use your home stereo with it, it's incredible. When I get a few chances to play at home when I'm there alone, I pump it up and I feel like in a damn warzone

I can only speak for the PC version. I love it. Tons of weapons and unlocks. Small maps, large maps, air maps, armor maps, etc... Has it all. I'd highly recommend it to anyone, especially over COD.
I'm assuming you only have BF3 and not BF3 premium? Shouldn't be a problem really. BF3 premium has extra maps and I believe a few extra weapons you can't get on the basic BF3. You should be able to upgrade at any point if you so choose.

Be prepared to spend more on map packs than the actual game. (game is badass)

If you're not flipping upside down and crashing on takeoff, you're not doing it right. Also make sure chopper is as full as possible.
