I hope not. He hasn't pitched in a while and will be needed in Omaha.

You must not have played sports especially baseball. Not playing in game situations does affect some players. Anyone can look good in bullpen and not perform in game. Reason I asked because Cody has not had a lay off this long all season.

Reason I'm asking because someone may know him and knows if he ever had a lay off this long before. He hasn't pitched since May 24th. Will be almost 3 weeks before he takes the hill. Plus, Maneri could of put him in as relief to get in some work and he didnt. So hopefully he is not affected being taken out of the rotation last week. He was available tonight and not used.

I recommend the team take tomorrow off and have Glenn throw a simulated game to them on Monday

lol a valid question fit for discussion and everyone tears him apart...

i was wondering the same thing. i think maineri basically gave eades a shot at redemption for good behavior and he came through, so we may get the best of both worlds. glenn could have lost his rhythm a bit and if he lets off a few hits early in omaha he could be pulled.

i would've started glenn yesterday because i think it only puts doubt in his head to be dropped as the #2 starter. but maineri must've thought he deserved it, and he at least knows what glenn did (we're still in the dark about that right?)
