In about 5 or so years:

Drew Brees retires
Sean Payton leaves same year to go to Dallas or to take another gig.

Is there still a waiting list for season tickets? Will every game still be a sell out?

Thats why I hope we draft another potential franchise QB next year? Giants made a nice move grabbing the Syracuse QB in the later rounds, despite Eli being in his prime.

I've been thinking of this day since about 2007. To answer your question, as long as we are competitive, the fans will be there.

It'll be the Ryan Griffin and Curtis Johnson takeover.

Brees yes, but we'll see about Payton. If the team overall is solid and were giving him a ton of $$ then he could stay. If we get a solid QB to develop that'll help

Draft David Fales next year. Brees is 34, and i say he has 3 good years left in him.

One day you and i will be dead. Sooner than we think most likely.
I'll enjoy the golden years of the Saints now and not worry one second on five years from now.

We'll need defensive help before another quarterback is drafted #1 by the Saints.

Once Ingram mans up, we can just go after Christian Ponder.

Matt Flynn will be the stop gap until we find a long time replacement.

CSP won't retire when Drew does. Why would he?
