Will be in Houston this weekend. Dinner is covered, but I need a few suggestions for lunch. Staying near the galleria.

Going for a wedding, so it is all pre-planned type stuff. I think we go to Pappas tonight and Sat night is the wedding itself.

If its Pappas Steakhouse you are in for a treat.

For lunch check out Adair Kitchen or Kenny & Ziggy's.

Pappas Burgers is pretty damn good

El Real Mexican is pretty good LINK

Hay Merchant Food is ok, get pig ear strips for appetizer, great beer selection

Petrol Station Good bar grub and best beer selection in town

Local Foods, Niko Niko's, Zabak's, El Tiempo if you want TexMex, Goode Company Seafood, Coppa, Sammy's Wild Game Grill, Cafe TH, Les Givral, Barnaby's Cafe or Lankford's for a burger, Relish Fine Foods, Central Market has good sandwiches and salads.

There is a lot better Mexican than El Real in the area imo..namely El Tiempo.

Yeah, I think El Real is on the level of the old Ninfa's chain.

Get the guacamole and The Paradilla for 2, enough food for like 4 people. Sangria there is great too.

RDG + Bar Annie is the best thing in the Galleria area, IMHO. LINK /

I was leaning towards TexMex one day and some decent Texas BBQ another. Thanks for the suggestions.
